Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026
bikecraft.pro uses a deliberately small set of cookies and similar storage. This page lists all of them and explains how to control each.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text records a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to function; others help site owners understand usage. This site also uses browser localStorage — a related mechanism — to remember one preference described below.
2. What we actually use
Strictly necessary
- PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID) — set when you open the site, used to protect the booking form against forged submissions. It expires when you close the browser and contains no personal details.
- bk_consent (localStorage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so the banner doesn’t reappear on every page. It stays until you clear browser data or change your choice.
Measurement
If you accept cookies, we may enable basic, aggregated page-view measurement to see which advice notes and service pages are read most. This measurement does not build profiles of individual visitors and is not used for advertising.
3. Changing your choice
Click the snowflake button in the bottom-right corner of any page, or the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer, to reopen the banner and choose again. Rejecting cookies never blocks any content on this site — every page and the booking form work identically either way.
4. Browser controls
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site Data). Blocking the session cookie will prevent the booking form from submitting; use WhatsApp or phone instead if you prefer to browse that way.
5. Questions
