This policy explains how Bikecraft Aircond Engineering Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202301028466 (1509382-D), “Bikecraft”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through bikecraft.pro and our day-to-day service operations. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia.

1. Data we collect

When you submit our booking form, call us, or message us on WhatsApp, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details of your air-conditioning units and the work requested. Our website also records limited technical data (browser type, pages visited) as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. Why we collect it

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations
• To schedule, perform and follow up on service visits
• To maintain service records and honour warranty claims
• To issue invoices and keep accounting records required by law
• To send service reminders where you have a maintenance programme with us

We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing broadcasts unrelated to work you have asked us about.

3. Who sees your data

Your details are accessible to Bikecraft staff who need them to do the job: the coordinator who schedules your visit and the technician assigned to it. We may share data with professional advisers (auditors, lawyers) where required, and with authorities where the law compels disclosure. We do not pass customer lists to third-party marketers.

4. How long we keep it

Service and invoice records are retained for seven years to satisfy tax and warranty obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Enquiry data that never becomes a job is removed within twenty-four months.

5. Security

Customer records are stored in access-controlled systems, and form submissions to this website are protected against automated abuse. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect to what the job requires.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent to further processing (which may limit our ability to serve you).
